Award Ceremony!

Hey guys!
I said in my next article I will write about some drills to improve ball control, but I want to write a short article about the Ballon d'Or winner, the one and only Cristiano Ronaldo.

First of all congratulations, this year it was quite a fight between all 3 finalists, but I think we can all agree that Ribery was an underdog in the competition, simply because most of his achievements this year were team based rather then individual, don't get me wrong I believe all three of them did perfectly

Messi and Ronaldo were the two most plausible winner so I am going to concentrate on them - a lot of people will compare Ronaldo's goals to Messi's past achievements, which are quite impressive, but frankly the competition is yearly and the choices are based on the performance in 2013 only. Another thing I'd like to say is that this year Ronaldo in general has been looking sharper than Messi especially after the comments made from Blatter, but in general Ronaldo has shown to be a game changer - the perfect example Portugal VS Sweden. Also Ronaldo did break Messi's record for most goals in a Champions League group stage.

I think this is enough evidence to support Ronaldo's win this year, it's also not bad to mention the women's Ballon d'Or winner- Nadine Angerer, the Germany goalkeeper had a fantastic year both with her club and country.

Lastly I was impressed by the attitude all players displayed at the ceremony and I think young players and people in general should learn by. Congratulations to all the players who made it in the FIFA world XI, looking to see some BPL players next year ;)
